Dr Stuart and Rebel Skirving have built Gambier Vets into a proud, locally owned and operated veterinary practice. Backed by an incredible team of dedicated, highly skilled professionals, we’re here to help with all aspects of animal care, from beloved pets to production animals with genuine compassion, professionalism, and expertise.

Our team is at the heart of everything we do. They work tirelessly to provide exceptional care, going above and beyond for every animal and owner who walks through our doors. All of our staff are fully qualified and committed to ongoing training, ensuring your pet receives the most up-to-date and compassionate care — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We are proud to be the first and only Veterinary practice in the South East to achieve Hospital Accreditation from the South Australian Veterinary Surgeons Board. This prestigious recognition means our clinic is formally inspected every three years to ensure our facilities, equipment, staff training, and clinical procedures meet the highest standards of Veterinary care.

In 2024, Gambier Vets was also honored as a finalist in the SA Premier’s Business and Export Awards — a reflection of our commitment not only to animal health, but also to regional excellence and community service.
